Describe the protected surfaces

For framed work, measure the frame, glazing and projecting fittings. For unframed work, describe the sheet or canvas, its support and any surface-contact restrictions; do not treat these as interchangeable objects.

Step 02

Define the handling checks

Identify corners, faces and edges that require clearance or support. Ask for a loaded sample plan and agreed transport validation. A generic mailer photograph is not evidence of suitability for an artwork.
