Bring the bottles, jars and beauty essentials together in a pack designed around your product set and sales channel.

Start with the full set
Build beauty packaging around the complete product set: the bottles, jars, tubes or makeup items, their position inside the box, and the outer pack used for delivery. Compare a presentation box with a corrugated mailer, then approve the fit, print and packing arrangement on a sample.

Structure & product positioning
Perfume bottles, skincare jars and makeup palettes need different positioning. Share the complete set, including caps, pumps and accessories, so the box and insert can be developed together.
Materials, inserts & print
Use these decisions to prepare the sample brief. A photograph is a design reference; the final board, insert and finish belong in the agreed specification.
| Decision | Options to discuss | What to confirm on the sample |
|---|---|---|
| Outer construction | Cardboard presentation box or corrugated mailer; a separate shipping pack where required. | Packed dimensions, opening, closure, assembly and the full transit configuration. |
| Product support | Paper insert, compartments or cushioning; other insert materials where suitable. | Fit for each bottle or jar, movement, removal space and visible label orientation. |
| Branded surfaces | Printed exterior and interior; foil stamping, embossing, debossing or spot UV as appropriate. | Artwork position, colour reference, folds, finish adhesion and areas exposed to rubbing. |

Beauty packaging buying questions
Bring the product set and a reference. Confirm the remaining details through structure development and sampling.
Send the product list, dimensions and weights, number of items per set, quantity, artwork status, delivery destination and required date. Include a reference box and explain whether it is a gift pack, a retail carton or the shipping pack.
Start with the delivery route. A corrugated mailer is a structure to discuss for the outer shipping pack; a presentation box focuses on the product arrangement and reveal. A gift box may still need a separate transit carton. Review both together using the actual filled set.
Provide the dimensions of every variant and show which combinations ship together. Compare a shared insert with separate layouts, including the space needed to lift each item out. Approve the selected arrangement with physical products before production.
Options to discuss include cardboard and corrugated constructions, paper inserts and printed interiors. Printing and finishing options across the manufacturing network include foil stamping, embossing, debossing and spot UV. Select a combination for the proposed board and confirm it on a sample.
Identify glass containers, pumps, loose caps and surfaces that can rub. Agree checks for insert fit, lid closure, artwork, colour and the packed shipping configuration. Ask for an agreed test method if your distribution route requires transit testing; a product photograph is not a test report.
Ask for a schedule based on your structure, quantity, artwork and approval stages. Include the required arrival date and destination in the brief. A delivery date can be agreed after the pack specification and sample requirements are reviewed.
