Industry applications

What needs to be settled before ordering seasonal gift boxes or an advent calendar?

Confirm the occasion, product count, compartment plan and required arrival date first. For a calendar, map every opening and the item behind it; for a gift set, confirm the full arrangement and shipping outer. Agree artwork, sample approval and packing responsibilities before setting the production schedule.

Material, insert & print options

Make the seasonal artwork work with the structure.

Compartments & inserts

Match the compartment to the item, including labels, caps and removal clearance. Calendar pictures do not establish an insert material or food-contact scope.

Printed artwork

Supply final graphics, numbered-door mapping and text. Check the print across folds, edges and the closed presentation.

Finishing & packing

Discuss applicable foil, embossing, ribbons or other details with the actual construction. Include filling and protective wrapping in the sample review.

Sampling & shipment preparation

  • Check every compartment against its assigned item.
  • Verify numbered artwork and opening direction on the approved sample.
  • Agree assembly/filling responsibility and transport protection.
  • Work backwards from the required arrival date with confirmed approval milestones.

Holiday collections buying questions

Resolve the details before ordering.

How do I brief an advent calendar?

Send a numbered map of the actual products, with dimensions and weights for each one. Identify the opening sequence, artwork and who will fill the calendar.

Can the calendar be delivered flat?

This depends on the selected structure. Ask for the proposed storage, assembly and filling method and review a sample before including flat delivery in the order.

When should seasonal artwork be ready?

Set milestones from the required arrival date and agree them with the proposed structure, quantity and finishing. Artwork approval is one dependency; there is no universal deadline for every seasonal pack.

Does a chocolate calendar image establish food-contact compliance?

No. Separate the food’s primary pack from the calendar and identify the surfaces that touch food. Request documentation for the actual material and intended conditions.
