Decision 1

Approve the content first

Assign responsibility for product names, instructions, barcode data and any regulated copy. Reserve the required panel space before the print proof is reviewed.

Decision 2

Approve reproduction on the sample

Check size, contrast, orientation and surface treatment on the assembled proof. Record content and visual approvals separately so a correct print reproduction is not mistaken for verification of the words themselves.

Turn the method into a sample brief

Bring the result of “approve the content first” and “approve reproduction on the sample” to the packaging discussion. Share the real contents, relevant drawings and the decision still to resolve.
