Decision 1

Identify the intended closure

Assemble the blank in the stated order and check how tabs, side walls and lid meet. Decide with the supplier whether an additional seal is needed for the actual delivery use.

Decision 2

Run a loaded trial

Pack the real goods and repeat opening and closure. Note catching tabs, compressed contents and blocked label areas. Agree the transport checks on the completed parcel instead of inferring performance from an empty sample.

Turn the method into a sample brief

Bring the result of “identify the intended closure” and “run a loaded trial” to the packaging discussion. Share the real contents, relevant drawings and the decision still to resolve.
