Choose the packaging layer

A carton that presents a gift and a mailer that carries a parcel have different jobs. Lay out the gift, card and any inner box first; decide which surface the recipient should see when opening the parcel.

Compare an integrated gift mailer with a presentation box inside a separate shipping carton. Ask for both assemblies loaded with the same contents, and compare opening, removal and the number of packing operations.
