Start with one SKU

Measure the closed bottle or jar, its label and any projecting cap. Decide what information and presentation belong on the retail carton and whether an insert is needed to hold that item.

Decision 2

Compare the outer layer

Evaluate the retail carton by itself and inside the proposed parcel packaging. Keep the roles separate when discussing material and sample checks; a compact retail box does not automatically replace a shipping outer.
