Decision 1

Distinguish the colour sources

A coloured appearance may come from the paper surface, printed ink or both. Compare the outside, inside and exposed folds on actual samples; a screen rendering cannot show how the substrate affects the result.

Decision 2

Approve a repeatable reference

Specify the intended print coverage and retain a signed physical colour sample. If several colours share one structure, record which sample belongs to each artwork version before placing the order.
